4 Scarlett students from any of Mr. Thomas' Science 8 classes may apply to represent our school, Ann Arbor Public Schools and Washtenaw County by completing the application below. Applications will be reviewed and assessed by members of the 6/7 Grade Student Council. 4 primary and 1 alternate representative (who would attend if a primary drops out or is removed) will be selected who can commit to the following:

Applications will be reviewed and assessed by members of the 6/7 Grade Student Council. 4 primary and 1 alternate representative (who would attend if a primary drops out or is removed) will be selected who can commit to the following:
- Attend all planning meetings, Mondays in November from 3:05-4:00 with possible lunch time meetings.
- Represent our school and district with student prepared project boards and/or technology
- Discuss their learning experience around technology integration with legislators, teachers and students from around the state.
- Contribute and support the team.
- Family support. We might need families to transport to and from destination.
- Team spirit.
- Ability to speak in public.
