#7 Parts of a Flower Lab
20 November

  1. Complete the BrainPop Pollination as a class.
  2. CAREFULLY dissect the flower provided being sure to keep that parts in one piece.
  3. Group the different parts then DRAW and LABEL the following on a sheet of paper (see the picture for an idea of what your might look like):
    1. Petal
    2. Pistil (Stigma, Style, Ovary)
    3. Stamen (Anther and Filament)
    4. Pedicel
    5. Sepal
    6. CAREFULLY open the Ovary and find the Ovule.

  2. Talk to the text as you read a second time. Underline bold words and the definitions.
  3. Complete the graphic organizer.
  4. Find your FAST PLANTS and draw a picture on a sheet of paper with labels and measured in centimeters for height for the water and nutrient grown plants.
